Intensive 4 Week Course in Math B, Chemistry or Biology

The University Prerequisite Course in Mathematics B, Biology or Chemistry is an intensive four-week course to satisfy the relevant prerequisite requirements at The University of Queensland or any other university.

Students successful in the unit of competency in which they enrol will receive a Statement of Attainment.

Results will be available for the January 2020 QTAC Major Offer Round.

THE BEST FOOT FORWARD PROGRAM SUPPORTING STUDENT TO TRANSITON TO UNVIERSITY

Are you starting university in 2020? 

Not sure what to expect?

UQ College is offering students starting university in 2020 a one day workshop to assist in transitioning to university.

Our BEST FOOT FORWARD PROGRAM will assist you in transtioning to university through our tailored workshops.  These workshops will help you understand the university environment and provide you with the awareness and skills to navigate the opportunities and pitfalls.

THE ONE DAY WORKSHOP FOCUSES ON:

•Strategies to succeed at university in your first year;

•Understanding your learning strengths and the personal skills needed to be successful;

•How university is different;

•Support Services available to you at UQ;

•How to achieve an ideal balance between study, work and social committements.

 

WORKSHOP DATES: Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5th or Thursday 6th February 2020

COST: $120 with all resources provided

TIME: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Online - Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation (10765NAT)

Do you require a prerequisite or the full qualification.  

This qualification is delivered online giving you the opportunity to work and study in your own time to meet the requirements for university entry.

Whether you are looking to gain entry to university via an alternate pathway, increase your Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) ranking, or seeking a specific prerequisite for entry into university, this qualification will equip you with life-long learning skills specific to tertiary education.

This qualification is recognised by The University of Queensland as a high-quality academic pathway. The Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation (10765NAT) is recognised as a Year 12 alternative, you will be able to apply to the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) for a ranking on completion or alternatively, you may just complete a specialised unit to meet prerequisite requirements for university.
